Do you want to join us?

Merthyr Tydfil, Walthamstow, Brentwood, Fife, Margate, Rochdale and Newcastle – just some of the places where we’re not!

But with your help perhaps we could be…

guide-mockup-editFrom Monday 1st September, we’re launching our new accredited delivery partner initiative – offering the R U Different? programme greater capacity and reach across the UK.

We’ve already joined forces with a few keen and capable individuals who will be promoting and delivering R U Different? exclusively in counties across the North and South West of England.

Now we’re looking for a few more people who can help us in the North East, East, South East, Midlands, Wales and Scotland.

Programme Founder Gary Lovatt explains:

“This is an ideal opportunity for Individuals, Charities and Organisations who are passionate about engaging young people and communities in a more meaningful way.

Our programme is fun, engaging and strongly evidenced in terms of tangibly improving health and wellbeing outcomes, particularly for young people.

Having a strong network of accredited and local delivery partners will offer new and existing Local Authorities, Schools and Young People more face to face engagement opportunities and a greater consistency of service throughout our network.

With new programmes for Primary schools and Colleges also on the horizon, it’s a very exciting time to be involved.”

Joining up is John Rees (pictured right) – an experienced PSHE consultant covering the areas of West, South and East john reesYorkshire.

“I’m delighted to be supporting the wellbeing of young people, using the theory-driven, evidence-based work of Social Sense and thrilled to support such a good and growing organisation.”

The ideal candidate(s) / partners will have experience working directly or indirectly with young people (in a youth work or public health setting), be DBS registered and motivated to measurably improve outcomes.
You must also be available to attend training days in Manchester in September and October.
