Social Sense nominated for two awards at the Heart of Salford Awards 2017!

Social Sense are happy to announce that they have been nominated for two awards at Salford CVS’ Heart of Salford Awards including the Social Enterprise Award 2017. This award is for social enterprises that are fulfilling their social mission and adding value to the city of Salford.

Also nominated, Social Sense’s emotional health and wellbeing programme Mindful Me for the Innovative Project Award 2017.

Mindful Me was designed to equip young people, schools, parents, and workforces with tools to better understand their mental health and the power they possess to take positive steps and actions towards improving it.

Managing Director of Social Sense, Gary Lovatt said the team were delighted with the nominations.

“There are a lot of fantastic voluntary and social enterprise organisations currently working in Salford, so to be recognised along side them is an honour.”

The 2017 event will take place on Monday 11th December 2017, from 12noon onwards at AJ Bell Stadium, Stadium Way, Eccles M30 7EY.
