Last but not least!

The last three campaigns to make our Enterprise Awards Finals are certainly not to be missed and complete our phenomenal list ahead of the public vote next week.

Ellesmere Park High School, in Salford, delivered an anti-bullying campaign, which saw them create a character, Benjamin – the Anti-Bullying Buddy who proudly stood in the school lobby as a cardboard cut-out. Students were invited to take selfies with him and share on social media, to spread the word that most of them would take action against bullying. Students also received a stress ball each with his face on it. A brilliant campaign!

The Dearne ALC, BarnsleyThe Dearne ALC, in Barnsley, wanted their smoking campaign to be completely unique to their school. During a photo shoot arranged by ourselves through R U Different?, students shaped themselves into the number “88” to represent the percentage of those who choose not to smoke. These posters were then displayed all around the school for all students and staff to see.

You may recognise our final entry from our mailer a few months ago. This powerful campaign comes from year 9 students atNW Idea 1 Poster Netherwood ALC in Barnsley. Their ‘Change Your Perception’ banner depicts the negative portrayal of young people in hoodies vs the positive reality of the same young people, along with the key social norms message that most choose NOT to smoke.

So you have them all; the last of our fantastic entries for the R U Different? Enterprise Awards 2015. There is £1000 of high street vouchers up for grabs for first, second and third place winners, so please stay tuned in the next fortnight for information on how to vote for your favourite!
