Could your young people benefit from our 2016/17 programme?
It’s that time of year for us when we are busy travelling up and down the country briefing local authorities and schools about our world leading social norms intervention programme, R U Different?
Social norms is still widely accepted as being a successful early intervention tool across many different areas, including of course, health and wellbeing, especially that of teenagers whom we know are very much influenced by their peers.
A recent report by NESTA, cites social norms as “strong influencers of behaviour” and this is exactly why we use this to work with the young people themselves to create exciting campaigns.
For those of you who don’t know about our programme and approach, here’s a quick overview of some of the benefits:
- From the initial anonymous online survey schools/local authorities can quickly and accurately map certain behaviours in key areas
- Helps commission targeted services based on real and not perceived needs
- Immediate access to our suite of cost-effective interventions, aimed at engaging young people, parents and wider communities; proven to improve perceptions
- We provide a full local delivery service – freeing up precious school and local authority time and resources.
We are especially excited to enter our 2016/17 programme with the sound knowledge of what combination of interventions are proven to work since the release of an academic evaluation vindicating our approach and youth-led, technology focussed interventions. You can download the full report here.
