Gary Lovatt

Gary is a serial entrepreneur with a relentless passion for building products that create significant and measurable social impacts. As Managing Director of Social Sense, Gary has co-created multi-award winning programmes in the areas of Social Norms, Social Action and Social Marketing.

Gary’s current leading project is an app and programme supporting people with Dementia and their carers called Greater Moments www.greatermoments.org.uk

Prior to and alongside this, Gary has co-created multi-award winning programmes in the areas of Social Norms www.rudifferent.co.uk, Domestic Abuse www.movingonproject.org and Mindfulness www.mindful-me.co.uk.

When capacity permits Gary uses his direct 20+ years experience to consult for a range of socially focussed businesses and charities, primarily in the areas of social marketing and behaviour change.

Striking the balance between disruptive innovation and evidence based approaches, Gary’s work has seen Health & Social Care Partnerships, CCGs and Police Forces achieve Realisable Benefits in the areas of Dementia, Alcohol, Smoking, Violent Crime, Domestic Abuse, Self-Harm, Anxiety and Stress.

Guided by strong social values, Gary’s mission is to keep driving forward the early intervention and prevention agenda – proven to measurably improve lives and drastically reduce pressures on our public services.
